i-mate JAMA: home, work or anywhere in between.

The i-mate JAMA is one of the 'basic' Window mobile device aimed at users wanting a slim and lightweight way of keeping in touch and organized. The device looks extremely sleek in its dark silver casing. The i-mate JAMA measures 106 x 52.5 x 15.6 mm and weighs just 110 grams which is extremely less for any Window Mobile device. For data input, one has to use a stylus on its 65k coloured TFT touchscreen. Presence of a pair of soft keys, dedicated call keys and a 4-way navigation button makes it easy to use the i-mate JAMA while attending calls and other such basic functions.

This smart phone uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC as its operating system. This means an i-mate JAMA user gets a full Pocket Office functionality that includes Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. A Samsung SC32442X 300MHz processor makes sure that mobile computing with the i-mate JAMA remains fast and effective, without any lag time as seen in some other Window Mobile devices. The hand held can boast of 64 Mb RAM and 128 Mb ROM memory, with provision for further expansion using microSD (TransFlash) memory cards. All these powerful features are backed up by a rechargeable Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery that can give you up to 4 hour of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time.

The i-mate JAMA supports dual band GSM mobile network and exhibits high network reception quality. Embedded class 10 GPRS technology can give you a decent data connectivity speed. Web surfing with its Internet Explorer (Pocket IE) is easy even for first time users to search, find and even download desired contents from the web. The device features a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. This is a great way to share unusual incidents and pleasant moments in pictures with your near and dear ones via MMS, email or even by uploading them to the Internet.
